Tristan Sullivan teaches keyboards and drums at the Red Barn and brings a deeply caring, encouraging presence to every lesson. He graduated cum laude from Westfield State University with a degree in Music Education and is a Massachusetts K–12 certified music teacher.
Tristan has performed extensively throughout New England in jazz, funk, and rock bands, and he brings that real-world musical experience into his teaching. He especially loves improvising with students, helping them find the groove, and making music feel natural and alive.
Tristan believes students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and free to explore. Whether you are just beginning or already have some experience, he works with you patiently and enthusiastically to help you grow in confidence, creativity, and musicianship.
